Dear Dreamer, I want to ask you some questions
Stop and be a dreamer with me for a moment…
Firstly, I’d like to wish you all a very Happy Easter and hope you’re having a pleasant time with your loved ones.
I’m off to Kalgoorlie today to meet my boyfriend (he’s been working up there and it’s his birthday weekend so I wanted to give him a nice surprise).
But before I go, I wanted to do something a bit different today and share some verses from a lovely poem I discovered this week, which really grabbed me deeply.
“It doesn’t interest me what you do for a living. I want to know what you ache for, and if you dare to dream of meeting your heart’s longing.
It doesn’t interest me how old you are. I want to know if you will risk looking like a fool for love, for your dreams, for the adventure of being alive.
It doesn’t interest me what planets are squaring your moon. I want to know if you have touched the centre of your own sorrow, if you have been opened by life’s betrayals or have become shriveled and closed from fear of further pain…”
~ Oriah the Mountain Dreamer
Now I want to ask you a few questions.
What do you ache for?
Would you risk going after it no matter what?
Are you hiding behind fear?
Think about your deepest desires and put them above everything else. Overcome the worry and fear and doubt and go after your desires with everything you’ve got.
You’re invited to chase the life of your dreams. Will you go for it with a burning desire?
Be a dreamer with me….
It’s the only way to be free.
Have a great weekend big dreamer.
P.S. If you like what you’ve read feel free to like, comment, or share. Your time reading my post is greatly appreciated. 🙂
