If you want to be successful, you need to start taking massive daily action.
Start out with massive daily action bursts – in doing this you will keep momentum going, figure out what works and what doesn’t, and get results. It is so important to have a daily plan and know what you’re going to do every single day to get yourself closer to your dream life. The people who have a clear plan in place are the ones that become the most successful.
The only way to reach your destination is to take massive daily action steps to get there. You can’t expect to get to the top of a mountain, without climbing all the steps to get there.
That’s how you need to see your online business.
If you jump online every now and then and work a bit here and there you’re never going to see results. Once you’ve put in all the hard work and built a successful business, then yes you will be able to take time off and let the business run for you.
But you can’t expect that to happen overnight.
To be successful you need to learn the skills required and once you learn those skills you need to put them into action, but don’t wait to learn everything because the internet is a constantly changing environment and if you wait until you’re an expert on everything you’ll quickly be left behind.
You need to adapt and learn on the job. And you need to teach what you learn.
It’s like uni students who just keep studying, they get their bachelor degree, then go on for their masters, then their doctorate. Sometimes they end up over-qualified for their field and don’t get jobs, others know so much on paper but you put them into the real life environment and they’ve got no clue what they’re doing because they’ve spent too much time studying and not applying their skills. Or you could be like me, by the time I finished my degree the whole field of journalism had been completely disrupted, newspapers and magazines were becoming a thing of the past and everything was turning to the online press, but we didn’t have the skills to work online because we’d spent five years learning about print journalism. Get my gist?
This is why the learn – do – teach method is so good. You learn something, you put into practice, then you teach it while it’s still fresh and relevant.
One of my mentors once told me – shoot first, then aim. Basically, it’s ok to be slightly off with what you’re doing, as long as you’re doing something. From doing something you will learn what works and what doesn’t and then you can tweak what you’re doing and make your aim better before you shoot again.
As you learn and grow you can share your skills with others who are a little way behind you. By sharing your fresh knowledge and experience with them, you create value for others. You may not be an expert in the entire field you’re working in, but you can become an expert on little aspects and share that knowledge with others.
This is how you develop a following and this how you build a team of repeat customers, who in turn build their own teams.
But it all starts with the first step, and then massive daily action steps!
So, are you ready to take the first step to massive breakthrough?
If you are then I’d love to work with you.
