Be sure to live a life of no regrets.
I absolutely LOVE the message in this video, about living a life of no regrets. I just had to share it.
Today I’m going to ask you to watch this and while you’re watching I want you to think about anything you might regret yourself.
Now, if you’re game enough, I’d love for you to share your thoughts in the comments below.
What is your biggest regret?
If you don’t want to share in the comments, at least do yourself a favour, grab a piece of paper and write something down. Or if you have your own blackboard or whiteboard write it there.
Now, if you have written it down, I want you to erase it.
This small act will should hopefully make you more aware of what you should be doing with your life.
Take a moment to look at that clean slate and think about what you want and desire. What are you most passionate about?
What would you do if you had a clean slate?
Will you go ahead and live a life of no regrets?
My bet is you’ll never regret the chances you took.
But I bet you will regret not being brave enough to take that one chance to do the thing you want so badly you just can’t stop thinking about it. You’ll regret wondering what could’ve been different if you did take that chance. And you’ll regret the things you didn’t do, more than anything you did do.
I can tell you now, my biggest regret up until this year was allowing myself to get stuck in my comfort zone. When I finished uni I had so many opportunities to leave my corporate job and chase my writing career, but I was scared so I turned down opportunity after opportunity. It got to the point where I completely forgot that was ever my dream and just worked myself into the ground at a job I no longer loved.
Finally I realised what I was doing and woke up to the need for change. I’m learning to chase my dreams and live a life of no regrets. Others may not quite get my choices but I’m doing what’s right for me.
Every day is a clean slate.
Why not make the most of that opportunity and start doing something you’ll regret not doing?!
