Live Your Dreams – But How?
It might seem like everyone’s screaming at you to live your dreams and follow your heart, which is all very well and good, but sometimes you might be stuck wondering just how you can actually do that.
Before I get started I encourage you to watch this short video.
While watching I want you to think about these few questions.
How does it make you feel? What is your dream?
If you had no restrictions what would you do with your life?
What would it feel like if you were to live your dreams?
Was this video confronting for you? It was for me. Because it’s the truth!
All my life I’ve done what I’m told – I’ve lived up to the expectations of society.
I went to school, I worked part-time, I got a degree and moved into full time work.
If I continue down the path of living out society’s expectations my next steps are….
Get married, buy a suburban house, have kids (in whatever order).
This is my story. The end.
Is yours the same? Do you want that to be your ending?
For so long we’ve been drilled to believe this is THE DREAM.
They even coin it ‘the American dream’…I’m Australian but, same concept.
Whose dream is this? I can assure you it’s not mine.
When I was younger I had this idea that by 30 I would have all this.
Now, I’m almost 27 and I’ve achieved half the dream but I’m not happy.
Getting up and going to the same job every day is slowly killing me.
I don’t want to be that person who has a heart attack on a Monday morning. Do you?
Getting married and having kids in the next 3 years isn’t going to solve my problem.
I WANT MORE!!
I want to live my dreams.
I want the financial freedom to travel AND work.
I want my family to have life experiences and not be stuck in the same societal constraints we’ve
all become so used to.
I want to climb Mount Everest, swim with sharks, learn to surf on the biggest waves in Hawaii,
see the Northern Lights, go to music festivals all around the world, volunteer in an orphanage,
teach English in Vietnam.
I WILL DO ALL THIS but I will do it on MY TERMS, not crammed into 4 weeks a year
when I’m allowed to take leave from my job.
I will NOT commit spiritual suicide. I AM GOING TO BECOME A LION!
What are you going to do?
If you’re ready to slay your dragon, live your dreams, and become a lion too, I urge you to click here and work with me.
I promise you will not be sorry. Take a leap of faith, your life depends on it!!
